A reputable Canadian magazine published the ranking of Canadian universities in 5 fields of study based on a survey of the country’s professors.

According to ISNA, choosing a university is only a part of the student process. Another part includes identifying the student’s talents and interests to help him choose his field of interest.

In this regard, “Maclean’s” magazine has announced the seventh ranking of Canadian universities and has reviewed the universities of this country based on the quality and strength of research.

This year, Canadian universities were ranked in 5 fields, which include “nursing”, “business”, “computer science”, “education” and “engineering”.

In this ranking, the opinions of 1,200 university professors and chairs in 80 Canadian universities have been evaluated.

According to the latest ranking announced by Kivas Institute, the University of Toronto was chosen as the best university in Canada.

According to Isna, citing the official website of the University of Toronto, the QS ranking system has recently published a new ranking of the world’s universities. The results of this ranking for Canadian universities show that the University of Toronto is the best university in the country and is among the top 10 universities in the world in seven fields of study.

These fields include education, subjects related to sports, anatomy and physiology, pharmacy and pharmacology, philosophy, medicine and nursing.

Also, the University of Toronto is among the top 25 universities in the world in 32 specific subjects. Only Harvard, California, Berkeley, Stanford, California, Los Angeles, Oxford and Cambridge University have achieved this success.

University of Toronto President Meric Gertler said: It is gratifying to see the University of Toronto consistently recognized for the unparalleled breadth and depth of expertise across its three campuses.

“Only a handful of universities in the world host so many leaders in such a wide range of disciplines, and our scientists at the University of Toronto deserve to be proud of our global standing.”

The QS World University Rankings by Subject analyzes the performance of universities in five broad areas – arts and humanities, engineering and technology, life sciences and medicine, natural sciences and social sciences and management – ​​and 51 specific subjects.

It is based on a survey of academics (more than 130,000 people worldwide), employer feedback, research citations per article, the H-index and the international research network, i.e. the ability of a university.

Overall, the University of Toronto improved or maintained its position in 26 of the 48 subjects published in 2022.

After the University of Toronto, which had the best performance among Canadian universities, the University of British Columbia, McGill University and the University of Alberta had the best performance among the universities of this country.
