What is a Canadian LMIA license?

LMIA stands for Labor Market Impact Assessment and it means to assess the impact on the Canadian labor market .

It is a document that an employer is required to provide when hiring a foreign workforce from outside Canada .

If there is no applicant who is a citizen of Canada or has a permanent residence in Canada for the available job, the foreign workforce can apply for that job. The positive result of the LMIA certificate is usually called an approval letter.

1) Canada’s favorite band

2) Federal-provincial agreement

3) International agreement
