Applying for immigration is a process that includes several stages, and entering each stage requires passing the previous stage. In general, the action process includes the following steps:
1- Completing and sending documents
In order to avoid delays in the review process, forms and documents must be prepared according to the instructions related to each immigration program.
2- Fingerprinting and taking photos (biometrics)
For people aged 14 to 79, it is necessary to go to the designated centers and be fingerprinted and photographed according to the letter received from the Immigration Department. The cost of biometrics should be paid when sending the documents. From the time you receive the letter, you usually have 30 days to apply for biometrics.
3- Examining and making a decision about the case
Once the case is completed, the conditions and documents will be reviewed and the final decision will be made. The applicant will be notified in a letter. If the immigration request is rejected, the reason will be announced to the individual.
4- Travel to Canada (if the immigration application is approved)
In order to travel to Canada, it is necessary to have a Certificate of Permanent Residence (COPR) sent to you by the Immigration Department. Also, the immigration visa must be included in the passport.
5- Control of identity documents when entering Canada
Border guards will check your documents and make sure you are not denied entry. It should be noted that having a visa does not guarantee entry into the country and the border guards have the authority and power to decide on this matter.
6- Entering the country
After control and approval by the border guards, the entry stamp will be placed in your passport and you will be allowed to enter Canada.
