What is meant by business tourist?
In temporary residence programs in Canada, people who intend to enter the country for business purposes can obtain a business tourist visa. Business tourists follow one of these goals in their trip:
1- Participating in international business activities without entering and directly affecting the labor market in Canada
2- Expanding the range of business and business activities
3- Investing in business programs in Canada
4- Development of business relations with Canadian companies
Which economic or commercial activities are allowed during the stay?
1- Purchase of goods or services from Canadian companies for foreign companies or other governments
2- Receiving orders for goods or services from Canadian companies
3- Participation in meetings, conferences and trade exhibitions
4- Providing after-sales services (of course, managing things, not actually doing them)
5- Passing a training course in the parent company in Canada as an employee of one of its branches outside of Canada
6- Providing a training course for employees of the Canadian branch of a foreign company
7- Completing a training course in the Canadian company from which you purchased services or goods
What are the necessary documents and conditions to receive a commercial tourism visa?
1- Presenting a work plan to convince the Immigration Department expert about returning to your country before the six months allowed
2- Proof that your main place of income is outside of Canada.
3- Meeting the basic conditions such as not having a criminal record or suffering from infectious diseases
4- Providing proof of financial ability to cover travel and accommodation expenses
5- Letter of introduction from the respective business company outside of Canada and invitation letter from the host company in Canada
6- Any contract, agreement or guarantee that shows the purpose of the trip
