The new program of the Immigration Department to attract immigrants
On October 3, the Immigration Department announced that according to the new immigration program, Canada will attract more than 400,000 new immigrants every year in the next three years.
Thus, Canada will accept 401 thousand immigrants in 2021, 411 thousand in 2022, and 421 thousand in 2023.
Of this number, 60% will be recruited every year through economic class, including express entry program and provincial programs. It is worth mentioning that it is the first time since 1913 that Canada accepts more than 400,000 immigrants per year.
