Improving the application review system by the Canadian Immigration Department
In the 2021 budget, the Canadian government has allocated about 430 million dollars to upgrade the information technology infrastructure of the Immigration Department.
Since 2010, the Immigration Department has been using GCMS in the management of immigration files. With the replacement of this system, it is expected to increase the security level of the system, and the possibility of faster review of files will also be created.
One of the goals of the Immigration Department is to perform part of the examination of cases by artificial intelligence.
