According to the new conditions, applicants to study in Canada in the fall semester (September) can start their courses online after obtaining a study permit semi-certainly (without providing biometrics). The deadline for action is September 15.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\"> <span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><strong>Required documents for the first stage<\/strong> :<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<ol style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">Academic acceptance letter  <\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">Study permit in Quebec province (for students applying to study in universities in Quebec province)<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">Letter of financial ability<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">Positive documents to leave Canada after completing studies<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">Self-declaration of having a relative in Canada<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">After reviewing the documents, the Immigration Department issues a pre-approval letter and students can start their courses online.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">In order to complete the process and obtain the final study permit in the second stage, the following documents must be submitted subsequently:<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: 12pt; color: #0000ff;\"><strong>Required documents for the second stage:<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<ol style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">Medical examination letter<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">Clearances<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">biometric<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">With a (final) study permit, students are allowed to travel to Canada. Also, only if the file is completed and the final study permit is obtained, the students can receive a graduate work permit (PGWP) and start working after graduation.  <\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">The Immigration Department also pointed out that although students who received their study permit before March 18, 2020 are allowed to travel to Canada, if their course of study is held online, at the entry points of Canada, officers of the Border Patrol may prevent them from entering Canada.
