What is a Canadian LMIA license?<\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/h1>\n

LMIA stands for Labor Market Impact Assessment and it means to assess the impact on the Canadian labor market<\/span> .<\/span><\/p>\n

It is a document that an employer is<\/span> required to provide when hiring a foreign workforce from outside Canada<\/span> .<\/p>\n

If there is no applicant who is a citizen of Canada or has a permanent residence in Canada for the available job, the foreign workforce can apply for that job. The positive result of the LMIA certificate is usually called an approval letter.<\/span><\/p>\n

The first condition for the employer to obtain the LMIA permit for the applicant is that he has advertised the desired job for six months, i.e. two quarters of three months, in reputable centers and has succeeded in recruiting Canadian citizens and permanent residents of this country. has not been <\/span><\/p>\n

The employer must prove with a document that he interviewed Canadian applicants and give reasons for their lack of success in the interview session. Also, the employer must prove with reasons such as the need for skills and expertise of the immigrant applicant that he will have a positive impact on the Canadian economic system.<\/span><\/p>\n

Skilled Migrant Workforce Occupations Exempt from LMIA:<\/strong><\/span><\/h2>\n

In the following cases, the employer does not need LMIA when offering jobs to foreign workers:<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

Foreign workers working full-time for at least one year with a valid work permit.<\/span><\/p>\n

Foreign workers who have a valid work permit are exempted from providing LMIA, such as: <\/span><\/p>\n

1) Canada’s favorite band <\/span><\/p>\n

2) Federal-provincial agreement <\/span><\/p>\n
